In The Wild

I was watching the movie directed by Sean Penn entitled INTO THE WILD last night. It was such a sad show but nonetheless got me thinking about how amazing animals are.

The character Chris in the movie died of starvation after consuming poisonous plants that he thought was edible. Turned out, he read the plant reference book wrongly and ended up being poisoned and eventually died of it.

What struck me as amazing is that observing my rabbits choosing the exact strand of hay that they consume goes to show that their instincts are impeccable. They do not need reference books but still able to identify exactly which food stuffs to consume.

Unlike the movie, I hope that my rabbits do not die of poison or starvation.
