In every litter of kits I had so far, there is sure to be one that is extra adventurous. I found one of the kits outside the nest box last evening upon returning from work. I did not do much of a thorough examination to see whether its eyes were opened. I shall do that this evening. But I saw this cute little fellow cuddled up near the nest box.
I have since replaced the big water crock with a hanging water bowl for BlueBerry in fear that straying kits may get drowned in that big ceramic crock.
Once the kits start to venture out of their nest box, I may decide to remove the nest box.
Hope to see their eyes open today. Shall take a few photos.
